The inaugural Kelly Country Festival event happened on Sunday,
8th November 2009.

It is great to see finally four suits of armour in a re-enactment!

I have been fortunate enough to have been contacted by the organisers
who put me in touch with the scriptwriter for the re-enactment
of the Siege of Glenrowan (Ned Kelly's Last Stand). Glenrowan1880 has
been used as the basis for information on the re-enactment. There are
several glaring errors which should have been fixed but unfortunately
were let go through to the keeper. It is my hope that in 2010 there errors
will be fixed for the re-enactment.
