THE AUSTRALASIAN SKETCHER The story of the Siege at Glenrowan was reported in the Australasian Sketcher by several reporters. The Sketcher was a newspaper that reported all the doings at Glenrowan via their man on the ground Thomas Carrington. The text is of great interest, as is the wonderful sketches done by Carrington. The text you will find on the following pages comes from a book titled 'Pen & Pencil 1880' edited by Cannon.
You could read this account alone and gain almost all the information you need to understand what happened at Glenrowan. What you see in the following pages is what appeared back in 1880.
